Biothane is a vegan leather alternative. Creature Clothes use the original American Biothane, as it is famously strong & very tested. In our book if you are going to use a material that is synthetic it has to last a long time in order to make it environmentally acceptable. Biothane is extremely hard wearing & waterproof. Wipe it clean & it looks brand new in seconds. We've even put it in the washing machine. It should last as long as a leather lead. The lead is riveted together and has an “O” ring at the handle to clip on a treats pouch or poo bag holder.
This lead should last just as long as a leather one. Creature Clothes have put it to the test for months, and it still looks brand new. We've tried everything to ruin it, but not even a scratch! That's why professional dog walkers love these leads so much. They're tough and reliable.
